... how does it feel?
You know that feeling you get when you're almost home?
When is hanging out with neighbourhood friends too much and when is it healthy?
The neighbours put up a trampoline and said we could come jump anytime. I know kids can have too much "screen time" in a day but is it possible to have too much trampoline time with neighbour friends? As parents should be be engaging our kids more rather then letting them hang out with friends all evening?
We have all that we need to entertain ourselves

My first post happens to fall on the day that I'm out with an awful flu - it reminds me of being little and the differences now that I'm big.
What kind of community are we thinking of over Christmas?
...it made me realize that so often at Christmas we talk about reaching out to those in need, to extend our hand and invite people into our community. What happens in reality is the opposite.
Glad to be home
Looking forward to routines. So interesting - after a long trip you really can see why the good life is most often described as home - the place where family friends and the routines of life abound. Grateful!
